With this level of service comes an important responsibility to ensure all our products are manufactured to the highest standards and to ensure that they are subjected to the most stringent quality control checks.

The list below provides you with just some of the processes we use to ensure all our products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

At Maximuscle, we have close partnerships with some of the most high tech multimillion pound manufacturing plants in the industry. Our commitment includes testing the raw ingredients used in all of our products. We demand purity, authenticity and product origin certificates. If we are not 100% sure of the validity or source of these certificates or supplies, Maximuscle always performs independent tests on raw ingredients to confirm the above.We reject any ingredients that do not meet the quality expected and demanded.

Maximuscle's manufacturing plants have regular audits to ensure compliance with the most relevant quality control standards in food and supplement manufacturing. Staff also undertake regular training to ensure these quality controls are followed.

Finished batches are regularly tested at independent Trading Standards approved labs to ensure that the macro nutrient quantities (fat, carbohydrate and protein) are correct and that the contents listed on the label correspond to what's in the bottle.

For total reassurance, all products undergo microbiological tests to ensure that there is no danger of heavy metal contamination or bacterial growth. New products also undergo shelf life tests to ensure they maintain their potency for the life of the product.

Maximuscle was the first company to have each and every batch of its products independently drug screened at the UK's leading WADA (World Anti-Doping Authority) approved testing lab - HFL. This unique test was developed specifically for sports nutrition and was pioneered and developed with Maximuscle, a test which is now industry standard. It complies with ISO17025 (the same standard as used by the IOC for urine testing), and is also UKAS approved. This compliance and approval affords complete peace of mind to athletes.
